STATUTORY 30/2004 : statutory of notary profession

  • INDONESIAN CITIZEN
    Notary in Indonesia holds an oath to the government and the country of Indonesia , the document made infront of notary it is consider as the government confidential archives, to have a copy of the notarial authentic document after it has been signed if the requested person not one of the party in the process , one shall have authorized letter from the Notary Organization, this requirement will be also applied if they are from police department as well as from the tax department.
  • GOD FEARING INDIVIDU
    One notary shall perform its honesty, impartiality, and God fearing therefore they will gain public trust.
  • MINIMUM AGE
    27 years old
  • PHYSCICALY AND MENTALY HEALTHY
    Medical certificate from the doctor
  • INTERNSHIP
    One year mininum of internship as notary staff as their own preference or as recommendation from Notary organization
  • PROFESSION
    Shall not carry other profession as other government officer, lawyer or other profession that is not allowed by the statutory of notary degree.
  • GOOD CONDUCT
    S    hall have a letter of good conduct released by the police department
  • OATH
    T    ake an oath before the Governoor
  • STAMP
    Notary shall submit the sample of signature, initial and the stamp to the state land department, notary organization, the chief of court, regent, mayor to where the notary is appointed. Notary is the publice officer that is allowed to produce the country emblem (Garuda) stamp beside the President of Republic of Indonesia and the judge .
